The kiddos had a blast when building experts came to visit our classroom!
The morning preschool friends had Cory Houghton, our tech director, come visit. He knows a lot about tools and showed some of his to the kiddos. They loved seeing the drill and noticed that it worked a lot faster than Ms. Brus using just a screwdriver! He even allowed a few kiddos to try the drill out and put some screws into a board! He was also very brave and held nails as some of kiddos
used a hammer!
The afternoon friends had Nolan's Papa visit! He builds machine sheds! He showed pictures of buildings that he had built along with the tools and supplies that he uses to build with. His helper, Nolan, got to demonstrate how different the tools were used and then allowed the kiddos to take a turn too. They were very fascinated and kept busy with it for a good chunk of time!
