Building Study was a Blast!

We have been busy busy busy in the Preschool room!  I apologize it's been so long since my last post, but I feel like it's finally slowed down quite a bit since our state visit is over and we are back in the swing of things after our winter break!  With the building study, our whole room was under construction!  Our dramatic play and block centers were turned into a construction zone!  The kiddos enjoyed making their own blueprints and then constructing the building they designed.  You will see many pictures of the kiddos in the building center below!  You will also see how we constructed our own gingerbread houses.  In both classes, we had a few kiddos who really enjoyed adding more detail to their gingerbread houses.  We even used some pictures from the internet for some inspiration.  After constructing our own gingerbread houses some of the kiddos thought it was a great idea to construct buildings out of boxes.
